Kubat Aliev (Marat Alyshpaev) seems like a regular retiree, a man of few words who just wants to spend his last years in peace. His apartment is located in a brutalist building from the Soviet Times in a residential area of Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek.

Sardar Udham is an Indian biographical historical drama based on the life of Indian freedom fighter Udham Singh, who assassinated Punjab’s former Lieutenant-Governor Michael O’Dwyer in London in revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, India. In 1919, Udham was a young adult working in a textile mill near Amritsar.

Winner of the Fipresci Prize at the 2021 Berlin Festival, Brother’s Keeper is a compelling drama about hardship and fear. Ferit Karahan draws from his own experiences and turns the boarding school into a microcosm where the surrounding snow mirrors the inner coldness of the teachers.
