Barbara Hershey

Born Barbara Lynn Herzstein, this native of Hollywood always knew she wanted to be an actress. She won a Golden Globe for A Killing in a Small Town in 1990 and worked with some of the greatest directors, like Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Jane Campion, Darren Aronofsky and the legend William Wyler.

For over 40 years the HFPA has recorded famous and celebrated actresses, actors and filmmakers. The world's largest collection of its kind - over 10,000  items - is now in the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences Margaret Herrick Library.
