After several years of shutdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, San Diego Comic-Con was finally back in full swing this year, welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd of dedicated genre fans. Kicking off a full day of Hall H presentations on Thursday, July 21, was a debut look at the big screen fantasy action-adventure comedy Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, releasing March 3, 2023, from Paramount Pictures.

Inspired by true events, I Am the Night, the TNT limited series directed by Wonder Woman helmer, Patty Jenkins, tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a teenage girl who is given away at birth, and grows up outside of Reno, Nevada. But as she unveils the twisted secrets of her past, she meets reporter Jay Singletary (Chris Pine), and together they follow a trail that leads them to some of Hollywood’s deepest, darkest secrets and one of its most famous unsolved crimes.

The women went pale; the men were interesting.

Chris Pine does it all – action, drama, comedy and sings too. The Star Trek Beyond star is also dapper in person.
