A detective investigating a man's death in the mountains meets the dead man's mysterious wife in the course of his dogged sleuthing.

In Park Chan-wook’s romantic-mystery film, Decision to Leave, detective Hae-joon (Park Hae-il) falls in love and gets obsessed with his suspect, the widow Seo-rae (Tang Wei). Directed and produced by Chan-wook who co-wrote with Jeong Seo-kyeong, the movie bagged the Best Director award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Come rain or shine was the motto for the press waiting to get into Cannes favorite Park Chan-wook's competition film. They braved the weather for the three-hour long romantic murder mystery.
