As Godzilla and Kong continue to duke it out against rivals in the overseas box office, Mortal Kombat, led by Cole Young (Lewis Tan) and Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train (original title – Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen), fronted by Tanjiro Kamado (voiced by Zach Aguilar), fought for numbers one and two positions in the domestic chart. Mortal Kombat won this round in the domestic market.
