With the next Awards Ceremony (January 7, 2018) the Golden Globes will be celebrating their Diamond Anniversary. That milestone marks 75 years since a group of Hollywood correspondents working for foreign publications first began awarding prizes for excellence in film and later television.

The Golden Globes precede the Cannes Film Festival by five years –  Cannes is celebrating 70 years and the Globes will have their 75th gala on January 7th, 2018. But the two events caught up with each other rather quickly.

We want to be among the first to wish a very happy 95th birthday to Doris Day, actress, singer, Hollywood legend - and, with 11 nominations, five wins and a Cecil B. deMille award, an integral part of the very history of the Golden Globes.

The timetable for the 75th Golden Globe Awards  has been announced. With the Golden Globes being presented on January 7, 2018, key dates have been established accordingly.

An aspiring actress (Emma Stone) and a struggling jazz musician (Ryan Gosling) meet and fall in love in Los Angeles, city of stars. “Part of what is wonderful about Los Angeles is that it doesn’t reveal itself to you right away”, writer/director Damien Chazelle told us.
