Guðmundsson’s “Beautiful Beings”
In Beautiful Beings, a teenage boy, Addi (Birgir Dagur Bjarkason), becomes friends with Balli (Áskell Einar Pálmason) after having seen him on national television. Balli is in the news as a victim of teen violence, which, we learn, is an increasing problem in the capital of Iceland.
