While Hollywood loves shooting in Eastern European countries like Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, or Romania, Turkey has struggled to attract major international projects due to the lack of a rebate program. Finally, last year Turkey has launched an up to 30% cash rebate for international feature films, documentaries, and TV series.

Whether they say Joyeux Noël, Frohe Weihnachten, Feliz Navidad, Crăciun fericit, or Veselé Vánoce, Christmas is celebrated by more than 2 billion around the world, for some only as a cultural holiday. Families reunite, children wait for Father Christmas or Papa Noel or Dedt Moroz, and Christmas trees, gift-giving, and celebratory feasts are traditional.

Two women from very different backgrounds – Ana, an upper-middle-class professional, and Clara, a nurse from the poor outskirts of São Paulo – come together under extraordinary circumstances. There’s an unplanned child, whose very own existence challenges the standards and expectations of the circles where Ana travels.
