John Boyega

The Woman King is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and stars Viola Davis and South African Thuso Mbedu, along with Sheila Atim, Lashana Lynch and John Boyega. To describe it as an action film might be true, but it leaves out the social significance that might not be immediately obvious to people who are accustomed to seeing themselves represented on all levels of society.

Star Wars’  John Boyega is one of fastest rising names in the industry, with a strong part director Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit, and the upcoming Pacific Rim: Uprising. Born in London in a Nigerian family, Boyega loves all kinds of music and is quick to point out his favorite compose: “Hans Zimmer is my favorite composer, and so I listen to him to and from the set.
