This comeback kid is clearly on a roll! And we are celebrating his trifecta of major awards today with a flashback to January when he won his Golden Globe. .

The 38th edition of the Santa Barbara Film Festival took place from February 8 to 18, offering movie screenings and celebrity tributes. Receiving variously named awards for their performances and participating in conversations were Angela Bassett for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever directed by Ryan Coogler, Cate Blanchett for TÁR written and directed by Todd Field, Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All at Once, Brendan Fraser for The Whale by Darren Aronovsky, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson for The Banshees of Inisherin written and directed by Martin McDonagh.

He is the one who really started the show off on the most inspiring note: Ke Huy Quan, the winner of the evening's first award, Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Everything Everywhere All at Once, was truly moved when he recalled his first acting job more than 30 years ago under the direction of fellow winner Steven Spielberg. And he had us all in tears.

It was the night’s first award and the real moment that started the show on the right note. When Ke Huy Quan accepted his Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for Everything Everywhere All at Once, he realized he had come full circle.
