Sundance heralds the start of the new entertainment year when stars usually bundle up in the freezing temps then strip down in the overheated soirées. With the film festival going virtual this year, Covid has made us nostalgic for those icy pavements and that sloshy Park City snow, but virtual or not, it heralds the beginning of the end of those final storms that have us wondering how to look fine while staying warm.

Keanu Reeves reprises his iconic role as Neo in The Matrix Resurrections (2021), the much-awaited follow-up to The Matrix (1999) directed by Lana Wachowski. Keanu launched his Neo in the first movie of the franchise, The Matrix in 1999, and its two sequels released six months apart in 2003, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, written and directed by the Wachowskis, costarring Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity and Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus.

Toy Story 4 stayed on top of the domestic box office chart in its second weekend in theaters, taking $57. 9 million to reach a home market cume of $236.

It's hard to throw around superlatives with a two-and-a-half billion-dollar movie still parked on the global charts, but John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum had a fine weekend by its own standards and landed first in the US with $57. 1 million.

Immediately after the completion of John Wick: Chapter Two, Lionsgate was eager to start production on a third installment of the successful franchise which had earned a combined $260 million in worldwide grosses. Keanu Reeves, who plays the retired hitman seeking revenge for the killing of his puppy – a present from his late wife - was eager too.

Keanu Reeves is enjoying a welcomed success with his second installment of the adventures of John Wick, a mean killer who takes no prisoners but loves his dog. Keanu had a band for a while so we asked if he listens to music while he read a script or when he works.
