LA Press Freedom Week Wrap … A Look Back

As a press organization, the HFPA is committed to supporting the First Amendment and freedom of the press worldwide.   To date, we have granted or pledged $6,910,000 to organizations such as the Committee to Protect Journalists, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, the Dag Hammarskjold Fund for Journalists, PEN America, ProPublica, the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting, the International Women's Media Foundation, Military Veterans in Journalism, the International Documentary Association, Inquire First, the Los Angeles Press Club, InsideClimate News and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.
