As much as the world likes to believe progress has been made in the equality of human rights, last summer’s Black Lives Matter movement illustrated that clearly, there is still much to be done. As often as we are told to learn from history sadly, we witness too many times history repeating itself.

Since its prime time days in the eighties the iconic TV spy adventure series MacGyver has become somewhat of a cult show and cultural meme. Perhaps that’s because it’s namesake protagonist (played by Richard Dean Anderson), with his endless resourcefulness and Yankee ingenuity anticipated the maker and tech culture we live in.
