Three times Golden Globe nominee Penelope Cruz won a Spanish Goya Award for her role in Julio Medem’s Ma Ma. In the Spanish director’s film Cruz plays Magda, a young mother who is diagnosed with cancer and has to come to terms with mortality and motherhood.
