Noomi Rapace

You Won't Be Alone is a folklore horror film directed by Macedonian-Australian, Goran Stolevski, who makes his feature film debut at the Sundance Film Festival. Set in the 19th century, Nevena (Sara Klimoska) is a young girl from a mountain village in Macedonia who is taken from her mother and transformed into a witch by an ancient shape-shifting creature, the Wolf Eateress/Old Maid Maria (Anamaria Marinca).

In Lamb, a supernatural folktale from first-time director Valdimar Jóhannsson, Noomi Rapace and Hilmir Snaer Gudnason star as a childless couple who discover a mysterious newborn creature. A24 picked up the rights for the film's release in the U.

Born in Sweden as Noomi Noren, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace lived in Iceland with her mother and stepfather in a town of people mostly afflicted with Down’s Syndrome. She caught the acting bug when she got a nonspeaking role in an Icelandic film at age 7, and moved back to Sweden to start her acting career when she was 15.
