As part of the special events to celebrate this year’s 75th anniversary of the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association hosted a special panel of Golden Globe-Winning TV Game Changers at The Paley Center for Media. The panel included Norman Lear whose shows, in a career spanning six decades, have won 10 Golden Globes and racked up 55 nominations.

In January the HFPA visited the set of Feud, the new limited series premiering on FX on Sunday March 5. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon play Joan Crawford and Bette Davis at the time of their, ehm, collaboration on the 1962 film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? At the time Crawford was 56, Davis 54, and Hollywood was swarming with young talent - Marilyn, Jayne, Liz, Audrey, and newcomers like Ursula Andress, Brigitte Bardot and Natalie Wood.

There is perhaps no bigger artistic champion of great female characters in Hollywood than Ryan Murphy whose Golden Globe-winning shows have featured a company of regular players, which includes Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange.  It is no surprise then that his latest project, Feud delves into the contentious relationship between two larger than life Hollywood divas.
