Danish actor Jakob Cedergren has a prolific career in Scandinavia, but he has finally caught the world’s attention with his outstanding performance in Gustav Möller’s The Guilty. He plays Asger Holm, a policeman working the emergency dispatch phones at the police station.

Alba August belongs to Scandinavian film royalty as the daughter of Danish director Bille August and Swedish actress Pernilla August. But the 25-year-old actress is becoming a star in her own right and is currently to be seen in the TV series The Rain and Pernille Fischer Christensen’s Becoming Astrid, the biopic of iconic Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.

 Tuva Novotny’s debut feature Blind Spot won the New Talent Grand Prix award - at Copenhagen’s CHP PIX festival. Shot in a single take the film details the real-time effect of tragedy on its characters.
