When you’ve been around for 75 years, well, pretty soon you get know people … As we gear up for a very special anniversary edition of the Golden Globes, a lot of friends helped us celebrate what has traditionally been the kickoff to Globes Season. HFPA president announced that Simone Garcia Johnson was selected as the first-ever Golden Globe Ambassador.

The first event of Golden Globe season – the announcement of our Golden Globe Ambassador – was a star-studded party – and, as usual, a preview of the fashion trends we’ll see through the busy awards-and-holiday period, all the way to Spring. First important trend – color was in less supply, but frills and sheers showed up aplenty.
