It’s “Midnight at The Pera Palace” for Netflix

Inspired by Charles King's novel "Midnight at the Pera Palace" which centers around the iconic Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul ( built in 1892 for the purpose of hosting passengers of the Orient Express), Netflix launches a television adaptation that covers the fascinating history of the city, the Ottoman Empire and Turkey. The eight-episode series depicts young journalist Esra’s encounter with the legendary hotel.
