The past week has drawn some of the biggest names in the entertainment field. Charlotte Riley – wearing Haney – and husband, Tom Hardy, attended the London premiere of Legend, in which he portrays both infamous Krays, gangsters twins and the terror of London in the nineteen sixties.

There was almost as much white off-screen as on: while the festival audience on opening night watched climbers fighting for their lives on a snow covered Everest, the two most glamorous members of the jury walked the red carpet in breathtaking white gowns. Elizabeth Banks dazzled in a backless Dolce & Gabbana while Diane Kruger wore a sweet but sexy Prada.

Fresh. Feminine.

From the Scottish Highlands to the Beverly Hills flats, the stars of two series came out to talk to the HFPA these past weeks. Outlander is completing Season 2 in Scotland, while Blindspot rounds up its freshman season.

There is nothing more feminine than a woman dressed in a tux. The attitude? Cavalier.

There was nothing irrational about the clothes the stars wore while promoting Woody Allen’s Irrational Man. While Emma Stone went ‘classic’ in a pencil skirt and top by Michael Kors, Parker Posey wore a jumpsuit by Leanna Zuniga of Electric Feathers.

Salma Hayek not only produced the animated film, Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet – which incorporates Gibran’s poetry and opens August 7 – but she also lends her voice to the main character, Kamila. When talking to us Salma looked cool in a white pants suit by Elie Saab and Gucci shoes.

It was a busy week in New York City: stars from the Showtime series The Affair – launching Season 2 in October – and Netflix’s entry in the Marvel Multiverse, Jessica Jones – premiering later in the Fall – were in town to promote their work … and to show off their flair for fashion.
