Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was born right before his famous father recorded Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, back in ‘71, but Duncan Jones has always been at home in the world of science fiction. His first film, Moon (which debuted at Sundance in 2009) was a metaphysical drama set in a Moon base inhabited by a solitary astronaut.
