We Are Who We Are

Most eight-year-olds don’t have the benefit of a master film class from one of the most renowned filmmakers in cinematic history. But then again, most people’s dad isn’t Academy and Golden Globe-winning director Martin Scorsese.

Globe-nominated director Luca Guadagnino comes to the small screen with an 8 episode series titled We Are Who We Are, set in Chioggia, Italy, in 2016 on an American military base. Here he tells the adventures of two teenagers, 14-year-olds Fraser and Caitlin, their families and their friends, Italian and American, white and black.

Alice Braga is having a strange year, like anybody else in 2020. She had to stop filming the fifth season of Queen of the South, where she has the main role and she was ready to finally see the release of The New Mutants three years after she filmed it in Boston when all the theaters in the world closed shop.
