Golden Globe winner Tom Selleck stopped by the Hollywood Foreign Press offices in West Hollywood the other day to talk about his new television series Blue Bloods, which will be seen around the world. In it he plays Frank Reagan, the head of the New York Police Department as well as the patriarch of a multi-generational family of cops.

Golden Globe winner Drew Barrymore believes that being awarded the Globe at last year's ceremony for her role in the HBO television film Grey Gardens was one of the high points of her life. "I have never experienced anything like that, " she told Hollywood Foreign Press members when she met them recently at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Would-be gatecrashers hoping to outwit the tight security and mingle with the stars at the glittering Golden Globes award ceremony could find themselves in jail under a tough new law going before California's Legislature. If they are caught they could face up to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine or both.
