HOLLYWOOD, CA, March 28, 2009 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that its 2009 deadline for applications from professional journalists who wish to become members of the organization has now passed.             New members will be announced in May 2009.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, February 6, 2009 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced that it will now again accept applications from professional journalists who wish to become members of the organization.            In order to qualify for membership the applicant must have a permanent, primary residence in Southern California, qualify under the HFPA Active Member definition, be registered with the Motion Picture Association of America in their International Directory for at least one year preceding the date of the application, and be sponsored by two active members of the HFPA.
