BEVERLY HILLS, CA, July 30, 2008 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association presented $759,865 in financial grants to film schools and non-profit organizations at its annual Installation Luncheon honoring the organization’s 2008-2009 slate of officers today at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Celebrities attending the event to announce grants included Aaron Eckhart and Jon Hamm.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, April 1, 2008 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that its 2008 deadline for grant applications has passed.   The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Charitable Trust (the HFPA Trust) was established to oversee the HFPA's cultural and educational activities.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, March 31, 2008 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that its 2008 deadline for applications from professional journalists who wish to become members of the organization has now passed.             New members will be announced in May 2008.

HOLLYWOOD, CA, January 23, 2008 – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced that it will now again accept applications from professional journalists who wish to become members of the organization.            In order to qualify for membership the applicant must have a permanent, primary residence in Southern California, qualify under the HFPA Active Member definition, be registered with the Motion Picture Association of America in their International Directory for at least one year preceding the date of the application, and be sponsored by two active members of the HFPA.
