Color, Minis and Men – Everything Goes in Fashion

Zoey Deutch

Trending Fashion: minis, color, and men’s styles were on display on the red carpet. Feathers fluttered and lessons in how to wear a look were delivered.

Zoey Deutch embraces the ’80s over-the-top shoulders and sleeves. The bright color is on trend as is the mini. She makes a wise choice to slick back her hair as the top-heavy style could clash with a bigger ‘do’.

Keke Palmer Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer has been bringing it while promoting Nope. (l) At the London premiere, the actress wore a bright green lace sheer with a flash of feathers where a skirt might be (Valentino’s 2022 fall collection.)

(r) While at the Berlin launch of Nope she wore a subtle David Koma. The detail on the ankle repeats the finish on the slit.

Denise Dainty

The ultra mini in bold bright colors on Denise Dainty paired with ankle boots and a contrasting and enhancing purse is a look to emulate. The geometric pattern and bell sleeves embrace the change between the ’70s and ’80s decades.

Pattakorn "Ploy" Tangsupakul

Pattakorn “Ploy” Tangsupakul was regal in a satin sheath with a thigh-high split and draped stole. The elegance extended to groomed hair and a neutral shoe to lengthen the leg.

Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya has been celebrated here for his fashion in numerous galleries. He doesn’t disappoint at the U.K. Nope premiere. Note his contrasting cuffs. We’ve also commented on his penchant to eschew ties preferring a closed collar or jewelry detail.

James Teeradon SupapunpinyoSukollawat "Weir" Kanarot

(L) James Teeradon Supapunpinyo brings edge, in a red velvet suit and no shirt. The satin trim on the lapel contrasts with the texture of the suit. The boots are a daring choice. The hair slicked back and a little earring finished the ‘take-a-closer-look’ statement.

(R) Sukollawat “Weir” Kanarot: Elegant in a white tux jacket paired with a crisp open-collared shirt and black trousers – the clout of a tux, taken down a notch with nothing at the neck – the black-rimmed glasses finish the black and white ensemble.

Dr. Kojo SarfoPopetorn "Two" Soonthornyanakij

(L) Dr. Kojo Sarfo demonstrates the trend amongst men in the hot summer heat to eschew the neck detail and go with a polo and a chain. The white on one – a statement.

(R) Popetorn “Two” Soonthornyanakij demonstrates STYLE! The lock of breakaway hair, the impeccable shirt, the kerchief arranged just so. Guys. Style is in the details. It’s how you wear something as much as what you wear. Be inspired.

Joel Edgerton Colin Farrell

(L) Joel Edgerton and (R) Colin Farrell look like they have been styled in the same vein, so let’s talk about their look together. This is a Miami Vice throwback. Where is Don Johnson? The vest beneath the suit done two ways.

Joel uses a tee with a traditional linen suit bolstered at the shoulder. The look is completed with light loafers.

Colin has fully committed to the throwback. The vest exposes a stretch of chest. A long chain breaking the nakedness. He has chosen a double breasted jacket worn open. His shoes: fawn suede.

Madame Joyce Sofia Resing

Feathers baby! Flirty! Fun! (L) Madame Joyce goes with neon green the detail at the hem. She’s paired it with sheer gloves a trend from Cannes – and a contrasting purse in a deeper shade of green – nice.

(R)  Sofia Resing stuns in falls of feathers. The Brazilian is a contrast between constrained and flow. The bustier holds her in, and the feathers float. The slit, reveals – but subtly.

Which look will inspire you on your next date night?
