Flowers, topknots and elegance! Style in the old-fashioned sense populated the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet.

Topknots continue to trend at the Tribeca Film Festival for hair – Vanessa Hudgens went for two! While Cyndi Lauper’s hair went straight up and lilac. Caitriona Balfe was fresh with a playful topknot with a flyaway tail.

Heading into their final season, the Outlander stars stunned. Caitriona’s red lips matched her satin purse – so nice to see someone on the carpet carrying a purse that is actually large enough to hold something!

Now, zoom in on her shoes – a thing of beauty. The sheer top – subtly so.

Sam Heughan was elegant in a deep blue shirt and tailored suit.

Nick Jonas stunned in Dior. Loving the intricate work on the suit jacket. Note the double lapel and front drape.

Oscar Isaac drew the eye in this Chanel ensemble. Notice the green undershirt visible beneath the black shirt, left open at the neck to show the layers.

Claire Danes was magnificent in pale pink – inspiring, as she did at the Golden Globes, with a pregnancy bump. The appliqué on the gown is delicate and arresting.
