Venice Film Festival: Tilda Swinton, Ukraine Fashion
Tilda Swinton uses fashion to pay homage to the Ukraine war, Rachel-Brosnahan in Versace & Rocio Munoz Morales, and Bianca Niculae in an elegant red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. See more.
Tilda Swinton – a Golden Globe Fashion Icon – pays homage to Ukraine in a Haider Ackermann gown. Her blonde hair brightened to sharp yellow with swathes of highlights against a sky-blue sequined dress that doesn’t photograph representatively, following President Volodymyr’s earlier request at the Venice Film Festival, for those in attendance to speak out against the war.
Earlier in the day at the photo call for The Eternal Daughter, she wore red trousers and the blue pin striped shirt, topped with trending square frames by Loewe.
Rachel Brosnahan wore Versace for the Dead for a Dollar & Cartier Glory To The Filmmaker Award at the 79th Venice International Film Festival. Later that evening at the premiere of the film she stayed in pale rose with embellished beading also by Versace. *Note the sculptured hair – also a trend.
Valentina Cabassi went naughty with a scrappy black figure-hugging, waist-revealing gown at the Il Signore Delle Formiche premiere.
Nilufar Addati stunned in a white sculptured satin gown with train and hood – the latter detail could also be starting a minor trend.
Festival hostess Rocio Munoz Morales also chose white and shockingly – had a sheer that didn’t go semi-nude – instead opting for grace and elegance in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
Bianca Niculae in a white satin gown beautifully cut – with a hood and extra long cuffs.
Benjamin Bratt (below) stylish in a black suit with black tie – classic. Hair slicked back and the chin highlighted with some scruff.
Return tomorrow to see what wonders will be revealed on the Venice Film Festival Red Carpet. Stay tuned for TIFF – coming soon.
