A small-town police chief goes to investigate the site of an air crash. The remote scene is one of utter devastation, but amid the rubble, chief Evans (Tolman) finds a little girl who inexplicably appears utterly unharmed, even though she is amnesiac. From there the mystery only deepens and ABC’s mystery-thriller Emergence promises to take viewers down a suspense filled rabbit hole. The HFPA’s Kirpi Uimonen-Ballestreros and Mirai Konishi asked Tolman about the upcoming show while she was promoting it at Comic-Con.
