Creator Ryan Murphy turns his lens on the golden years of post-World War II Hollywood for his lush new Netflix series, Hollywood. The series combines familiar names like Rock Hudson with Ryan’s own vision of an alternate Hollywood history as he centers his story on a group aspiring actors and filmmakers who challenge the then studio system of exclusion and prejudice. The all-star cast includes Jim Parsons who plays real-life talent agent Henry Willson and Darren Criss who plays Raymond Ainsley a fictional socially conscious aspiring director.
