Athena was one of the most talked about films at this year’s Venice Film Festival. Just released in theaters, it will surely make audiences think, feel and discuss. Its director is Romain Gavras, son of the legendary Costa Gavras, and it is obvious that political filmmaking runs in his genes. On the Lido, Golden Globe member Scott Orlin asked Gavras about his feature film debut.
