There were over 10,000 of the world's best athletes competing in Rio with one aim in mind, gold! Eddie Redmayne already achieved his precious metal, at least in the form of a 2014 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama but that didn't stop the 34 year-old Brit from travelling to Brazil to soak in the Olympic spirit and catch a few races. The HFPA's Scott Orlin caught up with him there.
