Globe Nominees Speak at Foreign Film Symposium
As is tradition the Golden Globes Foreign Film Symposium took place at Hollywood’s historical Egyptian theater. Organized in conjunction with the American Cinematheque and moderated by the HFPA’s Sam Asi the symposium packed the house for a Q&A with the nominated directors from France, Holland, Germany, Iran and Chile vying for the 74th Foreign Language Film Golden Globe. Stars Isabelle Huppert (Elle) and Gael García Bernal (Neruda) joined directors Paul Verhoeven (Elle), Uda Benyamina (Divines), Maren Ade (Toni Erdmann), Pablo Larraín (Neruda) and Asghar Farhadi (The Salesman). Here is what they told the HFPA’s Katherine Tulich.
