Born 35 years ago today as Robyn Rihanna Fenty in Bridgetown, St. Michael, Barbados, this powerhouse performer and recent Golden Globe-nominee (for the song “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) was discovered by Jay-Z and signed to Def Jam Records at the young age of 16. She has had enormous success in music, acted in various films and TV, founded her own fashion brand Fenty and her unforgettable performance at the Super Bowl only two weeks ago will be talked about for a long time.
