At the recent BIFFF, the horror film festival in Belgium, Spanish film director Juan Antonio García (J.A.) Bayona was a special guest, having made a name for himself in the genre. He directed the 2007 horror film The Orphanage, the 2012 drama film The Impossible, the 2016 fantasy drama film A Monster Calls, as well as the 2018 science fiction adventure film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the fifth installment of the Jurassic Park film series.
