British film composer Alex Heffes has scored for award winning films like Oscar winning movies One Day in September, The Last King of Scotland and Inside Job. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Score for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. HFPA member Scott Orlin spoke with Heffes who has released a new solo piano album, “Sudden Light” reinterpreting many of his famous film scores.
