Julian Lennon’s “Cycle” at the Leica Gallery
As part of our music roundtable series, Hollywood Foreign Press journalists recently met with Julian Lennon at the Leica Gallery in West Hollywood. The gallery is hosting an exhibit of Lennon’s photos titled “Cycle” – 50 photographs edited, as the artist told us, from over 4,000 shots taken during a river trip in Southeast Asia. Photography has been an enduring interest of John Lennon’s first son ever since he first picked up a camera to document half-brother Sean’s 2007 music tour. He has shown his beautiful black and white work documenting “his personal journey as an artist in the midst of unique life experiences.” Here is what he had to say to the HFPA’s Katehrine Tulich and Mirai Konishi.
