Marvel’s most diverse series Moon Knight just finished its first season. With an abundance of Egyptian actors – most notably female lead May Calamawy – Egyptian settings, music and costumes, this truly international production also stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke. The HFPA’s Raffi Boghosian spoke with director and executive producer Mohamed Diab, himself a filmmaker from Egypt.
