The amazing rebooted boxing franchise Creed returns to the screen with the first sequel of the re-imagined, Sly-certified Rocky successor. In Creed 2 newcomer Steven Caple Jr. takes over directing duties from Ryan Coogler while Michael B. Jordan is back as Adonis Creed and Tessa Thompson returns as Adonis’ girlfriend Bianca. In the ring in the meantime, Adonis faces Viktor Drago. Yes! none other than the heavyweight son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren also here to what amounts to a Rocky 4 reunion). Sylvester Stallone is the screenwriter as well as producer of the latest chapter of one of filmdom’s most beloved sagas.
