Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon Double Threat in “Spy”

Female driven comedies seem to fast be becoming the new Hollywood norm. Writer/ director Susanna Fogel’s The Spy Who Dumped Me gladly joins that club as a female buddy comedy that spoofs the usually testosterone fueled secret-agent genre. Mila Kunis and Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon star as two best friends unwittingly thrown into the world of international espionage when Kunis’ character, Audrey, discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy. HFPA members Luca Celada and Margaret Gardiner spoke to the film’s stars (Kunis, McKinnon and Outlander‘s Sam Heughan) and director and co-writer, Susanna Fogel for this report.
