Nominated Directors Hold Foreign Film Symposium
As has become tradition the directors of the five Golden Globe nominated foreign language films convened at the American Cinematheque for the Foreign Film Symposium. The roundtable discussion featured the directors of the five nominated films: Alfonso Cuarón (Roma), Lukas Dhont (Girl), Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (Never Look Away), Hirokazu Koreeda (Shoplifters) and Nadine Labaki (Capernaum).
The panel was moderated by Mike Goodridge, former HFPA member and Vice President, now a festival director and programmer, head of the International Film Festival in Macao, China. Before the program started our crew was there to ask our own questions of the directors of the five extraordinary films nominated this year.
