Premiere: The Book of Henry

Writer-director-producer Colin Trevorrow made his mark on Hollywood with the hugely successful reboot Jurassic World (2015). That film earned him sequel rights (Jurassic World 2 is slated for 2018) and maybe more impressively the director’s chair for Star Wars Episode IX, the final installment of J.J. Abram’s Star Wars trilogy. Between blockbuster assignments, he helmed The Book of Henry, an intimate genre hybrid psychological thriller starring Naomi Watts, Dean Norris and Sarah Silverman and an impressive trio of young actors: Jaeden Lieberher, Jacob Tremblay and Maddie Ziegler. The HFPA’s Ramzy Malouki was at the Los Angeles premiere and talked to all of them as well as the director.
