Disobedience is Sebastián Lelio’s follow-up feature to last year’s Golden Globe nominated A Fantastic Woman. The Chilean director was hired by the producers – including Rachel Weisz, who also headlines with Rachel McAdam and Alessandro Nivola of a woman who returns to the ultra-orthodox, North London Jewish  community which she left years earlier, when her father the Rabbi dies. Her return reignites a passion with a woman from which defies all community taboos. The HFPA’s Yenny Nun Katz asked Rachel Weisz and Alessandro Nivola about the film and the importance of disobedience.
