Serial collaborators and creative soul mates Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg are teaming up once again. After mining true stories for their previous films (Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day) they turn to the pure action thriller genre with Mile 22 which sees a team of deep cover operatives tasked with delivering a high value target to the prescribed location in a hostile country. The film also stars John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and Ronda Rousey. The HFPA’s Scott Orlin spoke to Wahlberg and Rousey about their roles.
