I am a Finnish journalist and TV critic who has worked in the TV industry all my adult life. I wrote my first TV review in the late 1990s. American TV dramas and comedies were my first love, and when I started my professional career, they soon became my area of expertise. Some 15 years ago I decided to take a closer look at the other side of the industry and accepted a position as a Press and PR Manager of a Finnish broadcasting company, Nelonen Media. In 2016, I returned to journalism and have been working as a freelance writer ever since. Currently, I write interviews and reviews for a Finnish TV guide called TV-maailma (“TV World”) on a weekly basis. my articles have recently also been published in a women’s weekly magazine called Anna, among other outlets.
