Carlos Manuel Bambaren Guzman
Born in Lima, Peru in 1991. With studies in Art at PUCP and Corriente Alterna, as well as in Digital Animation at Origami Studio, he is the co-founder, director, and writer of Cinestesia, a web-based multiplatform dedicated to film criticism and the coverage of both international (such as Cannes, Berlinale, Sundance, and TIFF) and national festivals. He was a member of the Ministry of Culture’s jury for the 27th edition of the Lima Film Festival and moderated panels with Peruvian filmmakers during the festival’s 29th edition. He is also part of the Filmaffinity critics network and a film columnist for the weekly publication “Hildebrandt en sus trece”.
