Eirik Bull is a Norwegian film journalist and hobbyist screenwriter with a special interest in science-fiction, fantasy, and fandom. His bylines appear in film- and TV-related articles and reviews for various Norwegian media outlets, Denmark’s premier movie site, Moovy.dk, and his personal Substack newsletter, The Bull’s Eye.

Bull’s academic background in film production, marketing, and brand management complements his lifelong passion for film. He has spent years studying the nuanced social and psychological facets of media fandom and the impact of mythic storytelling on our lives.

As a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), he has served on juries at several international film festivals, including the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the 47th Göteborg Film Festival, and the 8th Brussels International Film Festival.
