Eun Seon Ha

Eun Seon Ha has worked as editor, writer and contributor for various Korean publications covering film and music for the past 20 years. After she graduated from New York University Steinhardt with an MA in Media, Culture and Communication, she honed her craft as a journalist interviewing Asian celebrities with a focus on Korean filmmakers, classical musicians and K-Pop artists. Ha is also responsible for researching and writing policy reports on the American Motion Picture and Entertainment Industry for KoBiz (Korean Film Biz Zone), a site offering a wide range of news, reports and publications. Additionally, Ha contributes K-Pop trend reports to KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency), covers numerous film and music awards, as well attending film festivals including Cannes, Toronto, Sundance and Busan. Recently, Ha had the privilege of being the first journalist to interview two of Korea’s Oscar winners, director Bong Joon-ho and actress Yoon Yuh-jung. Her interviews in the press room are seen all over the world through YouTube channels which are uploaded by several entertainment magazines. Currently, she is an editor of arts and entertainment at the Korea Times LA, and serves as the US Correspondent for the Korean Film Council (KOFIC).
