My name is Guillermo Alberto Colantonio. I live in Mar del Plata, Argentina. I hold a degree in Literature and work as a researcher in Film History and Aesthetics. I have also worked as a programmer for MARFICI (Mar del Plata Independent Film Festival), and contributed to various platforms as a film critic, including Funcinema, CineramaPlus, and Peliplat. In addition, I run my own space on social media called El Curso del Cine.
I’ve taught in numerous workshops on Literature and Film, moderated panels, and covered several International Film Festivals, alternating between teaching and critical production. In 2018, I published El fin de las certidumbres (Gogol Ediciones), and in 2019 I contributed to Giallo. Crime, Sexuality and Style in Italian Genre Cinema (Rutemberg Ediciones). Currently, I am a member of the Argentine Film Critics Association and a programmer for ShortFest Buenos Aires, now in its second edition.
