Jaewon Sheol

Jaewon Sheol, who majored in film and literature in college, is the editor of the Korean cultural magazine "Cultura" and the publisher of the Korean-US magazine "K-Writer," based in Korea and Los Angeles' Koreatown. He has written articles on a variety of cultural activities, especially concentrating on film, and has covered major film festivals such as Cannes and Berlin for the past 10 years. As a book editor, he has also published more than 100 books on art and literature. His most recent works include the essay "10,001 Nights in Cinema" by Jay Jeon, former director of the Busan International Film Festival, and the interview book "Bae Chang-ho's Road of Cinema," by the filmmaker Bae Chang-ho, who led Korean cinema in the 1980s.
